The Teacher

My Story
Chris Howe has been teaching yoga for over 15 years, working with students of all ages and abilities — from those recovering from injury to those simply seeking more ease and presence in their daily lives.
Her path to yoga began as a personal one. After experiencing the profound impact of therapeutic movement on her own health and well-being, she committed to deepening her practice and sharing it with others. She trained extensively in yoga therapy, earning her C-IAYT certification and E-RYT 500 designation.
Today, Chris works with individuals and groups across a range of settings — private homes, studios, corporate offices, and online — always with the same intention: to help people feel better in their bodies and more at home in themselves.

Teaching Philosophy
Every body is different. Every session begins with listening — to your goals, your limitations, and what feels right for you today.
Yoga is more than movement. Breathwork, mindfulness, and restorative practice are powerful tools for healing, stress relief, and lasting well-being.
Whether you have never tried yoga or have practiced for decades, there is always a path forward. Curiosity is the only prerequisite.
The goal is never a perfect pose — it is a deeper connection to your body, your breath, and the life you want to live.
In the Room
Whether working one-on-one or with a group, Chris brings the same attentiveness to every session. She takes time to understand where each student is — physically, mentally, and emotionally — and adjusts her guidance accordingly.
Her classes are calm, unhurried, and deeply supportive. Students often describe leaving a session feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to themselves than when they arrived.
